About A/L Physics: The A/L Physics syllabus is structured across two academic years, covering fundamental and advanced topics in mechanics, waves, electricity, and modern physics. Every topic on Idasara Academy is mapped directly to the NIE curriculum.

Physics The fundamental science that studies matter, energy, and their interactions. Physics seeks to discover the basic laws governing the universe, from subatomic particles to galaxies. For example, the laws of motion explain why a cricket ball follows a curved path when bowled. Scientific Method A systematic, empirical approach to acquiring knowledge through observation, hypothesis, experimentation, and conclusion. It involves: (1) making observations, (2) formulating a testable hypothesis, (3) designing controlled experiments, (4) collecting and analyzing data, (5) drawing conclusions, and (6) peer review. For instance, to determine how the length of a pendulum affects its period, you would vary the length while keeping mass and amplitude constant.
